A Not-So-Brief History
of PCE Communications

If you told 20-year-old Melissa, who dove head-first into her Intro to Public Relations class as an undergrad at Villanova University, that she’d still be working in PR a couple of decades later, she’d believe you. She loved that class. Aced it!

After graduation, Melissa took her enthusiasm for all things PR into the workforce, and climbed up the ranks at some of the best-known agencies in the business. Her experience spans multiple industries and includes the evolution into the digital and social media space, creating her well-rounded and adaptable approach to communications.

Melissa saw her lifelong dream come true when she opened PCE Communications in 2013. With the opportunity to do the work she loves for the clients she chooses, without the complexities of the traditional agency structure, she devotes 100% of her time to achieving her clients’ goals. In turn, clients then reap the benefits of an experienced communications professional tending to every aspect of their business, including creating the strategy, writing the materials and reaching out to the media.

When she’s not working, Melissa volunteers for community and school events. She rarely turns down tickets to a rock concert and is a two-time marathon finisher who plans to take up running again tomorrow. She lives in Cedar Grove, New Jersey with her husband, four children and French Bulldog, Mack.
